“PakMarkas” obtained a BRC certificate for packaging quality

We are pleased to announce that international audit company has awarded “PakMarkas” with the highest A‑level certificate of BRC Global Standard for packaging and packaging materials. The certificate ensures that the company’s labels and packaging meet the highest quality and safety requirements.

Speaking about achievements and future plans, Virginijus Gumbaragis, CEO of “PakMarkas”, said:

“Implementation of the BRC Global Standard for packaging and packaging materials is a very important event for “PakMarkas”. It is one of the most stringent certification systems that must be met by packaging manufacturers that are supplying products which can come into direct contact with food. For many years, we have been printing labels that are intended for the food industry and are a part of the secondary packaging. However, the direction of our company is also the printing of labels that are intended to come into direct contact with food. Our customers are constantly interested in such packaging, so today we focus on the printing of the packaging film with prints."

The certificate was created by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) in order to assess the capacity of packaging manufacturers to meet the food safety requirements. It is worth mentioning that “PakMarkas” received the A-level BRC certificate at the first attempt which companies rarely do.
